Tasty and Healthy Cooking

Cooking is an art and is one of the biggest challenges of the world. A good cook does not need special spices to bring taste in the food. No matter how less spices you use, cooking is defined by the perfect proportion and blend of the spices.

Paranthas

Lot of people ask me that how to prepare a perfect Parantha. Well, everybody knows the procedure of preparing a Chappati or Parantha, but the trick lies in the method of preparation. Every step requires a particular time; hence, we should be careful in performing every action in the entire cooking procedure.
Today, I will be sharing the procedure of making a Paneer Parantha, and I will try my best to describe it in the most simplest way.

1) The first step is to prepare the dough.

2) The next step is to prepare the stuffing or Paneer mixture. I always use homemade Panner; hence, you can check out the recipe of how to make Paneer at home, else you can always buy it from outside. To prepare Paneer mixture, you need the following ingredients:

Chopped onions - One small onion
Green chillies
Paneer - 200 grams (Mashed)
Salt - 1/4 of tea spoon
Carom seeds - 1/4 of tea spoon

Procedure:
Mix chopped onions, green chillies, salt, and carom seeds in a bowl. Now add mashed Paneer in to it, and your Paneer mixture is ready.

A caveat: Make sure that the Paneer does not contain any water. It should be completely dry, else the Parantha will become sticky at the time of rolling, and the Paneer will come out.

3) The last and final step is to make Parantha.

To begin with, make small balls (100 grams each) from the dough which you prepared in the first step. Now take a dough ball and start rolling it, just to make a small round.

Add the Panner mixture in to it then as shown in the below image

Once you add the mixture, close the dough ball as shown in the below image

Now start rolling it. Don t put lot of pressure while rolling the dough as the mixture might come out with the pressure; hence, roll it very smoothly.

Almost, 60% of the work is done, and now you need to cook it on a hot pan. When it is 40% cooked from both the sides, apply Ghee and fry it.

And you are done; your delicious Parantha is ready. Enjoy hot Parantha with butter and earn accolades.
